The MI certificate will save your organization money by not having to send all instructors to off-site training.

Important: The reason we can make master instructors in the SafeClinch Training System is because of the new video package offered by SafeClinch. This is the way the program presentation works......

1. The presentation works like a power point presentation, but you do not need power point loaded on your computer to operate the video CD.

2. Each slide of the presentation has the name of the technique...a brief description of the technique...pictures of the technique....and the actual video instuction of the technique. You manual follows the video presentation exactly as it is on screen.

The SafeClinch Training System is a master instructor course that is taught in a three day session. Course hours will be 8:00am to 5:00pm each day. Training manuals; video presentations and instructor certificates (valid for three years) will be provided. The certificates will include the name of master instructor and the name of the organization that master instructor is assigned to. Participants need to wear comfortable clothing for mat work. It is requested that individuals come ready to participate.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE COURSE:

Those that attend the master instructor certification training for SafeClinch can anticipate the following during the three day session..........

DAY ONE* Registration / check-in* Introduction to SafeClinch.* Philosophy of the program* Discussion on what control is and the need for proper training* Lessons on effective communication and verbal de-escalation* Crisis Resolution

DAY TWO* Proper Techniques vs. Excessive Force* Staff and Client Safety* Body positioning, staff presence and escorting* Release and blocks* Physical control tactics.

DAY THREE* Advanced physical control tactics* Simulations* Review of program material* Performance / skills test* Certification presentation

About SafeClinch Training System

The SafeClinch Training System is for any organization requiring the use of strong verbal de-escalation skills; crisis intervention and prevention; along with quality physical control training.

The SafeClinch Training System will provide your organization with proven methods to interact with clients in a safe manner. By using verbal de-escalation skills and responsible restraint techniques SafeClinch will instruct your staff on how to provide a safe and secure enviroment.

SafeClinch emphasizes dealing with human emotions and the importance of proper training. Staff personnel will partake in teamwork exercises, verbal de-escalation and physical restraint scenarios. Staff will also learn how to remain professional in confrontational situations and how to properly interact with these clients.

The SafeClinch Training System provides both offensive and defensive capabilities and can be used effectively from any angle or in any scenario. Our techniques are easy for staff to learn and retain without the need for extensive training. We use a "Common Sense" progression of force starting at verbal de-esclation and progressing to empty hand positive control techniques. The physical control techniques are taught using proper body mechanics opposed to pain compliance to control a combative client.
